A reusable, eco-friendly alternative to dry-ice
In the Beginning.
EcoSlice was created in January 2017, by activating in a custom built freezer that reaches -80ºC EcoSlice has been uniquely formulated like nothing else on the planet. Activating in freezer takes between 4-8 hours.
Put EcoSlice to Work.
Simply place the re-usable EcoSlice back into the -80ºC freezer to activate again to continually use over and over until lost or destroyed/broken.
Reuse and Save Money.

Reducing Carbon Emissions.
Shaking up the Aviation Industry
We are seen unprecedented interest by streams of global aviation networks. Discussions are underway with airlines, airport CEOs and private jet owners on how to reduce carbon emissions.
The Impact of EcoSlice
• One airline currently using EcoSlice
• Conducting approximately 75,000 domestic flights annually
• EcoSlice lower their CO2 emissions footprint annually by 1 million kilos.
Aviation has an emissions problem
As an industry, both in the scope of its operations and the nature of its emissions, aviation has a significant effect on the environment. Despite this, aviation emissions remain largely unregulated and are increasing even as many other industry sectors decrease theirs. If global aviation was a country its emissions would be ranked about 7th, between Germany and South Korea, on carbon dioxide (CO2) alone. At the same time, air travel itself continues to grow 4 – 5% per year.
Worldwide, flights produced 781 million tonnes of CO2 in 2015. Globally, In October 2013, the Assembly of the United Nations aviation body, the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), reached a consensus agreement to proceed towards a global market-based mechanism when the Assembly meets next in 2016, to be implemented in 2020. It mirrors the approach taken by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and its Kyoto Protocol generally on climate change matters.
Reducing your environmental impact is a guiding principle for Gate Gourmet through partnering with EcoSlice, you will be implementing and environmentally friendly product with no CO2 dangerous goods classification.
