EcoSlice

A revolution in food refrigeration and transportation.

What is EcoSlice?

Ecoslice is not a disruptor – it is a
‘displacer’ in the non-refrigerated industry with it’s ability to ‘replace’ dry ice. EcoSlice is the future, delivering a superior product which cools faster, longer, is environmentally friendly and has no wastage compared to traditional dry ice.

EcoSlice has taken all the benefits of dry ice, removed all the negatives and developed a product that is currently taking the airline industry by storm.

EcoSlice will save you money.

A reusable, eco-friendly alternative to dry-ice.

In the Beginning

In January 2017 Ben Rogers successfully created a replica of dry ice. A product unlike anything currently available.

Put EcoSlice to Work

Independent tests have demonstrated that Ecoslice cools faster, longer, is environmentally friendly and has no wastage compared to traditional dry ice.

Reuse and Save Money

Simply place the re-usable EcoSlice back into the -80ºC freezer to activate and continually use over and over again. Thereby reducing your cost per use per customer.

WINNER: Gate Gourmet Australia – Gate Gourmet Green Dry Ice Project

Gate Gourmet is a global provider of meals for airlines and airport lounges. In Australia the company prepares more than 15,000 meals a day at its main catering facility in Mascot. In an innovative move to increase the duration and quality of cooling and reduce greenhouse emissions from freezing, transport and evaporation of dry ice, Gate Gourmet Australia partnered with a local research and design company to trial a new synthetic cooling product called Ecoslice as a replacement.

The trials, thought to be the first of their kind in the global on-board catering market, have been highly successful. The product is cost-effective, greenhouse-friendly and safer to use in the confined space of a catering cooler. Gate Gourmet is hoping to roll out the product throughout Australia later in 2018.

“Reducing our environmental impact is a guiding principle of Gate Gourmet. Through partnering with EcoSlice we will be implementing an environmentally friendly product with no CO2 dangerous goods classification.”
